About PlayGrown
A free record of a child's soccer season, kept by the adult who looks after them — plus a directory of the clubs, leagues and fields around them.
What it is for
Clubs change, coaches change, and the team app gets deleted in June. Everything a child did over a season — the games, the goals, the thing they were working on in October and could do by March — usually disappears with it. PlayGrown is somewhere to keep it that belongs to the family rather than to a club.
How it is paid for
It is free, and there is no advertising on it. There are no analytics or tracking scripts of any kind, and no personal information is sold or shared. If that changes, it will be said here first and on the privacy page.
Some deliberate decisions
- No photographs of children. Every card carries an illustrated character instead. Not as a default — as a rule, with nowhere to upload a photo.
- Private by default. A card is visible to the adult who made it and nobody else until they choose to share it, and sharing can be undone.
- Age groups, not birthdays. We ask for a birth month and year, never a full date of birth.
- No leaderboards. Nothing on this site ranks one child against another.
The club directory
Compiled from public state-association and league sources, with every record linking back to where it came from. Clubs can claim their own listing to correct it, and anything a club tells us beats anything we found. If a club would like its listing changed or removed, email us and it will be done.
Getting in touch
Michael Duguet — hello@playgrown.club. Corrections, complaints, and questions about what is held about your family all go to the same address and are read by a person. The contact form reaches the same inbox without opening your mail app.
